To switch language direction from English-German to German-English or vice versa, click on "Switch Language". If your answer was correct, this word will be removed from the list of possible questions. If it was wrong, you will be told the correct answer and then asked another one - the word you got wrong may pop up again. So as you get more and more right, the list gets shorter and the ones you don't know come up more often. To choose a smaller initial word list choose a "set" and click OK. Then the number of possible words will be restricted to a small list. Each of the sets listed is a different shorter list. This helps to concentrate on remembering fewer.
